O'Connell Demolition Ltd was contracted to demolish the redundant laundry and payroll buildings at Basildon University Hospital, consisting of a steel-frame high-rise laundry building and a modular office block.
Key risks, including dust control and public interface, were managed through suppression systems, scheduled deliveries, and vehicle segregation to ensure pedestrian safety.
