Residential Development | 3 Phases of the Development | 183 new houses | 16 new apartments | Infrastructure | Groundworks | Brickwork | Carpentry | Landscaping

The redevelopment of Ashlin Quarter presented formidable challenges, primarily due to its location within a conservation area and the stringent requirements for habitable floor levels. Navigating floodplain constraints further complicated the project, necessitating innovative solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards while preserving the environment.

Execution of the project involved a coordinated effort across various disciplines. Groundworks, including sewer work and infrastructure development, were conducted with precision to lay the foundation for the development. Strategic partnerships with local quarries and hauliers facilitated the sourcing and importation of approximately 150,000m3 of infill material. This material was compacted to specification, enabling the construction of structural pads and the filling of roadways and gardens. Throughout the construction process, our team prioritised environmental preservation, implementing measures to minimise ecological impact and ensure the long-term sustainability of the development.

The Ashlin Quarter redevelopment project showcases O'Connell Building Contractors' ability to overcome challenges and deliver outstanding results. Through collaborative efforts, innovative solutions, and a commitment to environmental preservation, we have demonstrated our capacity to excel in even the most demanding construction projects. As we continue to pursue excellence in our endeavours, we remain dedicated to upholding the highest standards of quality, integrity, and sustainability in all our projects.
